Welcome to The Sibley Lake Sprint Triathlon!
This is the inaugural year for the race and we hope to make it a memorable one. The race course is a true Wyoming adventure.
Swim Route (Blue Line): Swim 750 meters in the gorgeous Sibley Lake high in the Big Horn Mountains. Swim start is an in-water mass start at the boat dock. You will exit the lake at the north side of the dam at the transition area (yellow area).
Bike Route (Green Line): The Bike is a scenic 13 mile round trip. It is an out and back course with a turnaround and aid station at the Bear Lodge turnaround point. This ride will take you through rolling hills with a few challenging climbs on a paved road and shoulder for the entire ride.
Run Route (Red Line): The Run is where the challenge begins! The approximately 3.75 mile run takes you through part of the Blue Creek Cross Country Ski trail. Steep climbs, fast downhills and lots of great scenery will keep your attention through the entire run. If you are fast and quiet enough you may surprise an elk during your run! The run finish is near the boat dock where the swim started. We will update the run course with an exact distance in the next few weeks. All routes are approximate and may change.
